Spring Foraging Walks with Leslie Astor
Join us for a relaxing and informative two hour walk as we explore the local hedgerows, footpaths and/or woodland to identify and discuss the many seasonal edible and medicinal plants growing all around us.
Topics will include plant names (common and botanical), plant folklore and history, wildcrafting and cooking ideas, plants we can work with at home for first aid and family health, and more. Afterwards we'll taste a wildcrafted treat or two, and Leslie will email a list of what we've seen and talked about for your reference.
Price is £25 per person; £10 for children 12 and under.
All are warmly encouraged to come!
Bookings are non-refundable, but you may transfer an existing booking to a different date pending availability.
All walks meet at Bruern Farms shop, Milton under Wychwood/Bruern junction,
OX7 6QE unless otherwise specified.
Dogs on leads welcome, as are children with an adult.
