FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We’re open seven days a week, from 9-4, and from 9:30 on Sundays. We close on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

We serve breakfast daily until noon, and lunch from noon to 2:45. We serve coffee, tea and freshly baked goods all day, until we close at 4 pm.

We occasionally, though rarely, close for a private event. If you’re planning your visit from any distance, give us a call or check the home page of our website to ensure we’re open when you want to come.

In short, no. We like to keep our tables available for drop in guests on a first come, first served basis, and only take bookings (though we don’t require them) for parties of 8 or more. Feel free to call ahead and discuss your plans with us if you’d like to come in with a large group.

Our menu always offers a number of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Our kitchen is peanut free but not tree nut free. If you have severe food allergies do speak to a member of staff to ask what menu items are suitable for you.

We also offer vegan and gluten free options from our baked goods counter, and offer both oat and almond milk as dairy free alternatives for our hot drinks.

Yes! Bruern is a dog friendly cafe, and we welcome well behaved dogs on leads in our cafe. We ask that dogs remain on leads both in the cafe and in our carpark and garden areas, too. We keep bowls of fresh water for dogs around the cafe, offer dog sausages on our menu, and sell Scoops dog ice cream in the summer months.

We’re always on the lookout for quality items for our shop, especially local ones. To enquire about selling your stock with us, please email info@bruernfarms.co.uk with a description of your product(s), including your wholesale price list, MOQ info, etc.

Yes, everything on our menu is available for takeaway. Either order in person or ring ahead to place your order for collection.

Large groups wishing to book in advance may be asked to pre-order so that we can best accommodate your group alongside our regular customers, particularly during our busiest periods.

To enquire about exhibiting your art, please email leslie@bruernfarms.co.uk with examples of your work and a link to your website if you have one. Please note we prefer original artwork (as opposed to mass produced prints).

Our cafe has become a favourite stopping off point for groups of cyclists wishing to refuel with a coffee, pastry or lunch. If you’re out with a group of more than 8 people, we kindly ask that you ring ahead to let us know how many and at what time you’d like to come, so that we can try to reserve a table or area in the cafe for you.

Our cafe is situated steps away from multiple public footpaths including a section of the d’Arcy Dalton Way a portion of which runs through the nearby Foxholes Nature Reserve

While the footpath directly across the road from the cafe is private, it is accessible by permission of Bruern Farms; it is open most days of the year, except when signed as closed.

Because we operate various land management schemes on the farm, such as tree culling and wildflower margins, we ask that all walkers kindly stick to signed permissive and public footpaths on the estate.

We are a family friendly cafe and offer a selection of smaller plates for children at both breakfast and lunch. We are happy to accommodate special requests where possible to modify dishes for children. We have plenty of high chairs, a basket of children’s books, paper and crayons for doodlers, and a selection of family games to keep you all engaged and entertained.
