Farm shop
In 2020, when we were all stuck at home and looking to source more local food, Henry decided to move the desks out of the old estate office and add a fridge. He began taking orders from locals for fresh venison, and our farm shop was born.
Meat was followed by other staple provisions including freshly baked bread, locally bottled milk and our own pastured eggs. Over time the shop grew, we installed a coffee machine and offered freshly baked pastries, and soon became a hub for locals. In 2022 Wildflower Magazine included us in their list of best farm shops in the Cotswolds.
Today we offer a range of home grown and local produce including slow-grown, pasture-fed beef and lamb, free range pork, fresh, free range eggs and wild venison. Our newly installed milk machine offers round the clock access to organic, Red Poll milk from Fir Farm in nearby Lower Swell.
We also sell a small selection of local artisan gifts including the entire range of Fifield Road Apothecary products made right here on the farm by Leslie Astor, and hand turned bowls made using timber sourced on the estate by wood turner Glynn Allcock. And of course we sell a full range of traditional and heritage grain flours which are grown and milled here on the farm by Henry Astor. Find out more about our flour and mill.

Our shop is quite small but thoughtfully curated. We value quality over quantity.
